That Fuckin Guy

I am so flattered. The guys in Bronson made a t-shirt out of the flyer below. I almost cried like 10 times. They are so sweet. I could just hug them to death. I really do feel special. Gosh!!!!

We fired our drummer. Last Straw. The back story is that he kept shooting down potential band names, without providing any sort of alternative other than “I don’t like that.” It eventually became clear that he was not going to agree to any band name unless he himself came up with it. Saturday night, both the guitarist and I decided that Lost Luggage was it. The drummer says How about just “Luggage” which made me want to barf a little. These one-name bands can all go to hell, except Slayer and they are already probably going to hell anyway. Whatever hell is. I consider myself an agnostic, so I guess that leaves hell on earth. But I digress.

I was trying to set up a gig for sometime in October, and the fucker says the next morning, after agreeing to it in person the night before, “oh yeah I have this directing movie gig thing and I really doubt I’m going to be able to work on any new songs” so the guitarist and I finally just said fuck it, his attitude sucks and we’re not having fun. See, that’s the whole idea of Lost Luggage. To have fun! Think about it. You’ve lost your luggage. All your underwear is in Cambodia. What’s left to do but have fun??!?!?!?

Ok so I’m not too sad to see him go. Dumbass control freak drummer? Who ever heard of such a thing. Now, to find another drummer…
